Merry Christmas, London 2020

I paid my traditional Christmas Day visit to my local Clapton corner shop this morning. Yes, the selfie above is typically hopeless, but I think it captures the goodwill emanating, as it always does, from the world’s greatest barista. On my way there, I exchanged season’s greetings with around ten other people, including a Muslim woman I don’t think I’d met before, who called out “Merry Christmas” as she got into her car. The Mayor is doing the same to all Londoners from Twitter. On London echoes that message to all its readers. #LondonTogether.
