Every Christmas Day my wife and I find an excuse to take a walk to our local corner shop which is always open and in a festive mood. This year, you could smell the mulled wine as soon as you walked in the door. Cheers to Abdullah and all his international cast of lovely members of staff. And cheers to you, kind reader, too!
